Ambrosia Releases Aquaria for Mac
Ambrosia Software has taken to the seas and released Aquaria for the Macintosh, an epic 2D, side-scrolling underwater adventure game offering puzzles, exploration, and combat. Drop-dead gorgeous to look at and edge-of-your-seat exciting to play, Aquaria is packed with creativity, action, and innovation.
Finally! The PC version came out over a year ago and got a lot of buzz in the indi games community and games media. The Mac port has been in development for a long time now. Ambrosia does quality work though, and apparently they’ve added widescreen support among other polishing.
Here’s a cool interview with the creator of the game.
EventBox for Mac OS X
Is a ($20) shareware app that integrates popular social network sites (Twitter, Flickr, Pownce, Facebook, Digg etc) into a slick single interface.
I’m giving it a test run now, so far I might think about registering if a few features are added such as; posting to multiple services at once (ie Twitter + Pownce) and the promised slim HUD interface.
