Q:Hello! This may seem a bit weird but I was wondering if you could help me at all, I am doing an art project in school on robots. I'm finding it quite hard to find pictures and other samples of robot art. Do you know of any sites, artists, or pictures I could use? I noticed you post some of that type of thing! I thought it was worth a shot!

Hello. You could try searching wallbase.cc for “Robot”. You might also try searching Flickr, I belong to a robot art group.

An artist I like David Lanham has done a few robots. I’ve also got a handful of robot illustrations on my website.

Make sure you credit anyone if you use their art.

What is your Dock doing there? o_O

I always have my dock in the lower right at the smallest setting and large magnification, it’s less visually distracting that way.

Q:wait... you have a pc running osx with a virtual machine running windows 7 for gaming? 0_o

lol No my PC is dual booting Win7 and Mac OS X Lion. I do see how you might have mistaken my post though… While I’m sure it could be done, a virtual machine would be too slow for most 3D gaming. I have played a few less demanding games like Torchlight with VMware Fusion and WinXP on my MacBook Pro.
