I’m no musician, but Bebot for iOS looks like lots of fun. Much more my speed than the KORG synth for DS I posted about a few years ago… Only thing it really lacks is in-app recording and some kind of drum machine.
I think I saw a Bebot video right before it first came-out but forgot about it since.
Just 10 Years Apart
I had the 10 GB version of the original Mac only Firewire iPod. Loved it. I remember at college it was still a bit of a novelty even after the Windows & Mac USB version was released.

Dreamcast VMU shell as an iPod Nano case.
Bad ass! Proof that the VMU would have been a good idea 11 years later.

The NewerTech® 3 in 1 Audio/Sync/Charging Cable
I found this $19.99 cable & car charger that I’ll likely look into if the generic Chinese cables I ordered ($6.81 total) turnout to be garbage.
Scosche Charging Adapter for newer iPods and iPhones
After some research I found that I need this adapter to get my new iPhone 3GS to charge via my Scion xD’s Pioneer iPod interface; due to some hardware changes in late model iPods and iPhones. I’m ordering one today.
Domo Kun iPod / iPhone case is very cool
I’m back. Christmas was fun!
Diane and I had Christmas morning at our friends’ apartment where we opened gifts and had breakfast.
I got:
- Fable 2 (360)
- Mirror’s Edge (PS3)
- Battlestar Galactica Hoodie
- Smashing Pumpkins Zero T-shirt
- Transformers Watch
- Plush Santa Jack
- Collector’s set of Batman PEZ
- Tons of Chocolate
I gave Diane:
- 8GB Purple iPod Nano
- Jbuds purple iPod case
- Purple Jbuds earbuds
- 2 necklaces
- Battlestar Galactica “Frack Me” T-shirt
- Star Trek Tribble
- Chocolate
We spent most of the day lazing around and ended-up at our place for dinner and Halo 3. We had two 360s setup and were playing on Live also. After many rounds of Team Slayer we ended-up playing objective game modes like capture the flag where we won all but maybe 1 match because of our team coordination. Turned-out to be one of the most fun Christmases ever.
We payed even more Halo 3 over Friday and Saturday again with 2 Xbox 360s and Pizza. The most Halo I’ve ever played. Here’s my Halo 3 stats.
The iPod turns 7
I owned the first Mac only 10GB iPod, it’s one of the first things I bought after I had my first job. I’m now on my 5th iPod (a Touch).
WOW 1Password for iPhone / iPod Touch
I can’t wait for this. I already use 1Password for Mac and it’s really useful.
A little sketch of Solid Snake I did on my jailbroken iPod Touch, with the Sketches program, after we saw the fireworks. It’s not as accurate to draw with your finger than it would be with a stylus, but it turned out quite well.
