Bungie.net countdown. Next big game announcement?
Just over an hour left at time of this post. Nobody knows if it’s just going to be more Halo 3 content, or Bungie’s next big game being revealed. I’ll be sure to update or post again once it’s announced.

The Unfinished Swan is described as “a surreal maze game set in an entirely white world”, and to find your way around you’ll need to splatter paint all over the place.

avert fate - free Mac/PC FPS game
The game I posted about earlier was built on the cross-platform Unity engine and it reminded me of seeing this game a while ago, demoed on (I think) the 1up Show maybe a year ago. Apparently it was built to showcase the Unity engine.

OMG! The torrent of great games starts this month. WipEout HD will be $20 for download on PSN in just over a week. I was a big fan of the first PSP version; WipEout Pure so I’m really excited for this. [Via PS3Fanboy]

Castle Crashers custom T-Shirt This is easily my best custom T-shirt design yet. I made it for my friend Josh. (Photo 2) I hand drew the stencil of the character. I also made one of another character for my girlfriend but didn’t get a photo.

Spore hits this Sunday (Sep 7)
So Spore is out this weekend. I haven’t made any definite plans to buy it, but it does look intriguing. I’ll be looking at reviews and impressions this week.
iPhone game wish: Escape Velocity
Does anyone remember the classic Mac (later Windows too) space “RPG” Escape Velocity by Ambrosia Software? It’s gameplay was based on the basic “astroids style” overhead spaceship controls plus an addictive ship upgrade system, interstellar missions, and interesting stories.
I feel a new Escape Velocity could be a great fit on the iPhone with controls tweaked for multi-touch, and smooth Quartz graphics. “EV” would be great on a portable.

Could be another good reason to get a DS. I’ll start saving my pennies.
