Carl Erik Rinsch’s “The Gift” (via /Film) You’ll want to watch in HD full screen due to the stupid TV frame. It’s a very cool short, with sci-fi themes and an android.

Sockbaby - An indie film series by Douglas TenNapel the creator of Earthworm Jim. He and some friends made Sockbaby for the fun of it on almost no budget. It’s surprisingly still mostly un-heard of on the intnernets. I’ve been a fan of Sockbaby since 2004 when I went to a talk by Douglas TenNapel about creating comics at the U of A (in Tucson, AZ) where he showed Sockbaby along with his comics and animation.
