A new rough “pen doodle” I did using SketchBook Pro on Mac with my Wacom tablet. Started the sketch way at the beginning of the year and pulled it out last night. It’s as finished as I think I want to make it.
This should be a prelude to what is to come from me in the near future… I had been neglecting to draw for too long and want to make it a regular thing again.
So far I really like SketchBook Pro on Mac. It’s definitely more drawing/painting friendly than Photoshop. I also like the ability to save in PSD format by default so Photoshop touch-ups and effects can easily be done with full layer support.
My first finished Brushes 2.0 beta Painting
I started on this painting last week with the Brushes 2.0 beta 2 (for iPhone). With beta 4 out today I figured I’d rush finish this painting since there’s currently no way to transfer paintings between versions of the application (or to re-imported exported paintings)… *fingers crossed for this feature*
You’ll notice there’s a lot more detail and care put into the robotic arm than the rest of the painting. It did however turnout quite good for rushing the finished product… I would have liked to put more thought and time into the whole suite though.
“Painter Robot” digital sketch: Done with Brushes (for iPhone). A quick sketch, the product of a slow afternoon at work yesterday.
An unfinished Brushes (for iPhone) painting I started a few months ago (my 13th brushes painting apparently).
I was thinking cyber-punk android/assassin or something along those lines. I’ve stalled-out on it for now… Hopefully I’ll finish it with some critique. I was trying something a bit different than usual by making the outlines really bold.
Dark Street Lamp Painting
Done on Brushes for iPhone / iPod Touch brushesapp.com
I originally wanted to add a character or something under the lamp or in the shadows, but after playing around with it I realized it’s finished without any additions.
The full exported size is 1920 x 1200 for those who might want to use it as a desktop wallpaper.
Digital Painting: Steam Punk Robot Miner 1920x1200
My latest mobile digital painting done with Brushes for iPhone and iPod Touch. I Exported the painting at 1920x1200 so if anyone wants to use it as a wallpaper they can. I started this one weeks ago but I’ve been too distracted by other things so I just now finished it.
Brushes for iPhone: Painting Process
“Sword Girl” (Brushes painting) My latest art done on my iPod Touch.
I tried to put a lot of detail into this one and push Brushes and my iPod to the limit, however I think I still had a ways to go to hit the limit. At this point I think I’ve proven that I can use an iPod Touch or iPhone as a real art tool.
Also posted on DeviantArt, Flickr, and Untitled Image.
Another painting done on my iPod Touch with the app Brushes.
My first work of art done with Brushes for iPhone and iPod Touch. The character is Jade from one of my favorite games Beyond Good and Evil.
An early teaser of the new desktop wallpaper I’m working on. This is still very early and may not even reflect the final design. I’m working in high resolution too so this may end-up being a small detail.
My last wallpaper release was my robot painting at the end of March. Hopefully I get in the habit of making more frequent wallpaper designs.
