Thinking about rebooting my forums

My message board Untitled Image started way back around 2000 on EZboards as a manga style art critique community. It was later restarted on phpBB hosted on a friend’s hosting account around 2002 refocused on art critique in general. A few years later the database was transfered to punBB and has been moved from server to server, and now has an archive of 32,900 posts.

The dilemma I have now is how to breath live back into the forums. I am pondering a “reboot” and starting fresh without any archived posts. I am also considering making the focus on casual creativity, a place where busy creative people can show their art to help keep that creative muscle in use.

Updated my Message Board

I just updated Untitled Image to the latest punBB software. The layout broke with the update but I managed to get the layout all fixed-up again.

There’s also a nice little discussion about quality older video games. I’ve been playing Beyond Good & Evil for PS2.

An early teaser of the new desktop wallpaper I’m working on. This is still very early and may not even reflect the final design. I’m working in high resolution too so this may end-up being a small detail. My last wallpaper release was my robot painting at the end of March. Hopefully I get in the habit of making more frequent wallpaper designs.

Custom LittleBigPlanet Sackboy T-shirt (a quick pic from my Mac’s iSight) I made this shirt the other day before I made my 2nd Castle Crashers shirt. It turned-out a little pink (not by choice) on the brown color shirt I picked, (due to the bleach) but overall I like it. More photos and the discussion on Untitled Image.
