I must agree, this has been a long time favorite of mine also. It also comes in several colors!
My choice of replacement icon for iTunes 10: The Iconfactory’s Flurry iTunes icon.
As a graphic designer I was immediately disgusted by the new iTunes 10 icon/logo. It looks like a kid’s first attempt at making an aqua icon in Photoshop. I don’t mind the simple round icon concept, but it’s poorly executed and uninspired.
What’s your choice of iTunes icon replacement?
I rearranged my work desk the other week to be more centric to my Mac as I have used the provided PC less and less. My old setup.

The Mac Steam client will look exactly the same as the PC version when it’s out on the 12th… It’s a shame too. Valve really should hire this guy to implement this UI redesign for the Mac client. Checkout his screenshots on Flickr.
Zen HTML coding. Might take some learning, but it looks very useful for anyone who codes HTML. I’m going to try it.
Downloaded the trial version of Adobe CS5… Time to see if they made Photoshop and Illustrator less crappy, or just added more bloat. Worth the upgrade price?
