Countdown Comic: Prelude To the '09 Star Trek Film

My friend Ryan brought this comic to my attention before seeing this post on io9.com.
The new 4 part Star Trek comic Countdown reveals the plot setup for the upcoming May 8 2009 Star Trek (original series re-imagining), and crazier yet is a Next Generation tie-in via time travel by the film’s villain Nero. [See the full article on io9.com]
This comic can even be found on iTunes for iPhone and iPod Touch at only $0.99 per issue.
Hyped to see Watchmen today

I just finished reading the Watchmen graphic novel last night (in time to see the movie tonight) and I really enjoyed it. The ending was a bit unexpected in how it played-out; not your typical super hero ending. I’ve heard the movie changes the end a bit, so I’ll be interested to see exactly how it was changed.
A friend of mine was saying that he hasn’t been able to find the Watchmen novel locally because of all the hype around the movie. I got my copy on Amazon for a fraction of the retail price, and it was well worth it. I suggest you grab a copy if you have any interest in the movie.
Penny Arcade's take on Seinfeld & Gates Microsoft Ads
Blunt as usual with F-bombs, but funny.
I’m kinda annoyed by the geeks who are trying to overly annualize the ADs for any real meaning… Perhaps Microsoft was going for hidden meanings, but if you ask me the ADs are about nothing and accomplish noting but to get people talking about how pointless the ADs are. They aren’t going to repair Vista’s bad rep with ADs about nothing.
