Steve Jobs: Thoughts on Flash
Steve blogs again on Apple.com.
Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind.
New stuff in the works
I’ve decided to redesign my website using Squarespace as my host and publishing platform. I will likely keep this Tumblr blog open for my casual fun posts, (I am a fan of Tumblr) and use my Squarespace blog for the more formal site/design/art related posts. I’ll also look into integrating the two via feeds so followers of this Tumblr don’t have to go out of their way to see my other posts.
I picked Squarespace because it will allow me to redesign my site easily without having to worry about maintaining a backend too (like Wordpress for example). My site has been just venilla html/css as of March 2008; while I don’t need to worry about a backend I still have to hand code all my content and crop thumbnails etc… Thus updates are few, and it’s been nearly 2 years since my last redesign. With Squarespace I’m free to redesign whenever I want without worrying about my content.
Look forward to updates in the near future. I’m not sure how long the redesign will take, I’ll have to get comfortable with Squarespace before I get creative.

Apparently I suck at promoting my own websites… I’ve been trying to get my new user submitted art blog Untitled Image going for almost a month now, but submissions are far and few between still.
Perhaps I’m not being shameless enough? I tried a giveaway in hopes that I could get people to Tweet the link out for me, plus have incentive to submit art. It didn’t catch-on nearly as well as I had hoped, perhaps due to my Twitter followers not being artistic enough.
I’ve also started a Facebook group, but those seem about useless… You can easily get friends to join them because people just seem to accept almost anything you send them on Facebook, but I’ve noticed most people just ignore Facebook groups even once a member.
Friends suggested opening a MySpace page too, but I’m unsure of how to use it to my advantage. I was thinking about creating a quality profile layout that I’d giveaway for free that would also include a plug for Untitled Image, but I’d also have to promote that on MySpace itself (I hate MySpace)…
Perhaps I just haven’t networked enough to get sponsors and people to help promote the site? What am I doing wrong?
★ New Untitled Image: Art critique blog
I’ve closed the old message board Untitled Image site, and relaunched this in it’s place. I have found lately that most people have little to no interest in posting on message boards, be it due to lack of time or interest. So Untitled Image is now a blog that anyone can submit artwork to. Comments and critique are encouraged via Facebook, Twitter, or Disqus accounts (So that’s basically anyone).
Art Critique Blog: Coming Soon…
Due to lack of interest in message board format communities, Untitled Image (my old art community site) will be converted into a “critique art blog”. Visitors will be asked to upload/submit their art for approval and posting on the blog, a comment system will be open for (encouraged) critique and comments.

Export your Tumblr blog to WordPress
Or even Squarespace. I’ve been thinking of testing Squarespace soon for a new version of The Android Workshop, and this tool would allow me to move all my Tumblr posts too. I’m not sure yet though if I’d want to keep my Tumblr and integrate it with Squarespace, since I do love Tumblr. We’ll wait and see.
The Gamer's Girl
Here’s a link for my girlfriend, and all my guy friends’ girlfriends.
The Gamer’s Girl Blog is meant to offer support and wisdom to those who date, have fallen in love with, or are married to a gamer. Much like being a house wife or soldier’s wife, being involved with a gamer has it’s own set of rules, rewards, and challenges.

My Steam Punk Robot Got Blogged
I submitted my Steam Punk Robot painting to eatsleepdraw.com for the fun of it, and they just posted it. Due to their high volume of traffic it’s been getting some attention already.
Best iPhone / iPod Touch Games Blogs

So far I’ve found a few good iPhone game blogs.
- 1up.com: Tilt Blog 1up is one of the best enthusiast gamer media sites so they really know what they are talking about.
- Touch Arcade This site is specifically about iPhone games.
- Kotaku posts tagged “iPhone” A great games blog so their iPhone posts are usually note worthy.
- Joystiq posts tagged “iPhone” My other favorite games blog and their coverage of iPhone games has been getting better.
Please post suggestions for other links in the comments.

Added Google search to the blog
Now that I have a month worth of posts I thought I should add a search to the blog to make it easy to find posts of interest to you.
