Damn you UPS! My pre-ordered copy of Halo 3: ODST delivery was rescheduled to tomorrow… I don’t think Amazon helped though, they shipped it last nigh at mid-night.
Apparently it’s an issue for a bunch of people who pre-ordered on Amazon.
UPS Tracking Xbox 360 sent for repair… The optical drive all but died on me, it stopped reading game discs. It’s an elite console less than a year old.
My first 360’s optical drive also died on me once perhaps a year in.
Wish they didn’t use FedEx to send my iPhone… They’ll try to deliver it at my home long before I’m off work and I’ll have to drive all the way out to the depot to pick it up… At least UPS has a depot in town.
Mother’s Day Gift: UPS Fail
I ordered a blooming tea set for my Mom last week on Amazon and UPS destroyed it. UPS was quick to reply to my angry Tweet. I snapped these pictures before packing it up to return it to Amazon (let them handle the insurance claim).
It was soaked with rain all the way through and smashed/crushed. I ended-up getting my mom some wine and glasses instead.
My Korg DS-10 is supposedly delivered, but I have yet to see it yet… I’m getting suspicious.
Update: It was out at the company mailbox. Apparently nobody had checked all day, and I didn’t know it was USPS instead of UPS. (I have all my gadgets shipped to work so I’m around when they are delivered.)
