Too cool! HTML5 Google Chrome port of the critically acclaimed Xbox 360, PS3, and PC indie game Bastion. No Flash used! It looks and plays just like the original version. Mac users can also play (there is no Mac specific version).
The demo is free to play and you can unlock the full game for $14.99

My Dragon Age: Origins character is cute. I usually play as a male in RPGs but I thought I’d mix it up a bit this time.
I’m hooked. Between MassEffect 2 earlier in the year, and now playing Dragon Age I can safely say that I love BioWare games. I do prefer the sci-fi setting of MassEffect, but Dragon Age is just as engaging. I’m playing as a mage; for some reason it’s always my favorite class in any fantasy game where you can choose your class.
Because the PC version of Dragon Age automatically takes screenshots during story events, it’s likely that I’ll be posting a few more screenshots as I progress (no spoilers).
Square Enix's iPhone RPG 'Chaos Rings' Released
I posted about this game a while ago. It’s the first big budget looking RPG for the iPhone, on par with something you’d see released for the PSP or PS2 for at least $30. ‘Chaos Rings’ has been released for $12.99 (iTunes link), a bargain when compared with similar PSP games. Touch Arcade has a review if you are interested.
It sounds like the game will last you at least 8 hours (great for a handheld game). I’m actually far more interested in this game than Final Fantasy XIII (PS3 & 360), that I hear takes 15+ hours to get good. I’ve always enjoyed handheld RPG games, but I hate having to be bothered to remember to bring my (slightly too big for a pocket) PSP with me. It’s been a while since a JRPG has held my attention, but I think this handheld optimized RPG might be right up my alley since I’ve always got my iPhone on me.
Update: I bought this game today and am quite glad I did. If you like any of the Final Fantasy games from 7 or later, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this. It’s best feature is how easily you can save anywhere (except for in battles) and pick-up where you left off, so it’s well optimized for playing in little spurts.
Chaos Rings - An iPhone Square Enix RPG that actually looks like it could be good (I’m picky when it comes to JRPGs). The character graphics look like they are out of a PS2 or PSP game, and use old school impressive painted/pre-rendered backgrounds. I’ll be keeping an eye on this game… If it plays well in small chunks it could be the ideal iPhone game.

Chrono Trigger coming to DS
Could be another good reason to get a DS. I’ll start saving my pennies.
