Reminder: Rayman Origins is awesome!

It’s an easy game to overlook thanks to the glut of great games that came out at the end of 2011, but you’ll be doing yourself a disfavor by not playing this game.

I too nearly overlooked it because of limited money in the holiday shopping season. I finally ordered a copy for 360 last week when it went on sale for $20 from ToysRus.com for a limited time. If you missed that sale, it is totally worth the $30 you can now find it for from most stores like Amazon (it sold for the full $60 price when it came-out Nov 15).

My girlfriend and I have started playing co-op together and really had a blast so far.

This game looks 100 times better than the first, and the first was quite cool.

This is apparently what the press got to see when the game was first announced. Once again very polished for being so early in development; BioShock Infinite is dated for 2012 release.

Short answer: Get both a PS3 and 360 if you are serious about games. A PC too if you are hardcore. lol

My advice for today on Twitter concerning buying a gaming console.

Forgot to mention: If you have a little kid, an old standard-def TV, or an unhealthy addiction to Nintendo games get a Wii. Sorry Nintendo fans.

PS3 remote play on a Mac or Windows

[via @cmygeek] Sure sounds interesting. I’ve only tried remote play on my PSP a few times, and I’m not sure how useful the feature is.

MacBook Hard Drive Upgrade = Free PS3 HDD Upgrade & External Drive

I’m thinking about upgrading my MacBook Pro from it’s stock 320 GB hard drive to 500 GB, to make more room for my Windows gaming partition. The pleasant side effect of this upgrade is a free upgrade for my PS3 and a bonus 80GB external drive.

This round of upgrades would cost me around $130 (or less) to buy the 500 GB 2.5” SATA hard drive and a 2.5” SATA external enclosure.

Since the PS3 also uses 2.5” SATA drives; after cloning my Mac’s system onto 500 GB drive (via the external enclosure) I’ll put the Mac’s old 320 GB hard drive into my PS3. As a bonus I’ll make my PS3’s old 80 GB into an external drive with the enclosure.

Note: The only complication will be making a backup of my PS3’s files (because of DRM). I plan to use another external drive formatted to FAT32 to backup my PS3 files before the upgrade. Any other PS3 compatible flash memory will also work.

I’ve had my eye on this game since I first saw the new graphic art style. It’s definitely on my must buy list now, and I’m actually more interested in it than Mirror’s Edge at this point.
