Under the hood of a 92 Camaro. Some of my first noob shots with my first DSLR that arrived yesterday.
It’s my girlfriend’s car. She’s got a bad water pump and it’s burning belts so most of the afternoon yesterday was spent under the hood diagnosing the problem with friends’ and family’s help.

My girlfriend and I are going to share this camera for hobby photography and learn the ropes of using a DSLR. We both quickly outgrew our point-and-shoot cameras and I’ve found myself using my iPhone 3GS’ camera more because it’s always on me. Now I’ll have an excuse to want to carry a dedicated camera.
