I just watched the French film Amélie (for the first time) last night with my girlfriend. Apparently it has quite a cult following since it’s 2001 release so I rented it on Netflix. It was really quite good. It’s a very beautifully shot romantic and fun film with a bit of French strangeness; great for watching with your girl.
