‘Song Summoner Encore’ for iPhone & iPod Touch. This looks like a good strategy RPG from Square Enix. Fans of Final Fantasy Tactics games will likely enjoy this game. The first version of this game was for the classic style iPods and was well reviewed.
The full game is $9.99 (iTunes link) but there’s also a lite demo version (iTunes link) that I plan to try before I buy. It looks like something you’d pay $30+ for on a Nintendo DS or GBA back in the day, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s well worth $9.99 for RPG fans.

UPDATE: I’ve tried the lite version for a few minutes and really enjoy the game. It reminds me very much of FF Tactics Advance for GBA and Disgaea for PS2/PSP. It’s also addictive picking songs on your device to create units. I was a little sad that songs weren’t integrated into the gameplay, perhaps playing each character’s song on the battlefield or something like that.
I will likely buy this game. If it’s as long as game as most strategy RPGs it will be well worth $9.99.
