Autodesk SketchBook Mobile for iPhone

This is the first large company I’ve seen release an art tool on the iPhone. Not sure how it stacks-up against Brushes or Layers, but I’ll be giving the free version a try (iTunes Link). The only thing it seems to lack is a large format export.

Update:

First impressions. I really don’t like the interface… It’s a challenge even to figure-out how to change the brush size… As far as I can tell there’s no brush size preview either. It uses double-tap hot corners for clear layer, fit to screen, undo, and redo that seem less than intuitive. The tools do seem smooth and responsive if you can get past the interface. It has potential if they keep updating it.

Don’t forget to checkout my new art critique blog Untitled Image.

Hello. I'm Nathaniel Daught, (27) a graphic designer, artist, Mac geek, and gamer. These are my ramblings, photos, links, and art because I sometimes have too much time on my hands... One would assume that you also have too much time on your hands because you are reading this blog. Enjoy.
