Music I’ve been listening to: ‘Prurien†’ by †††
If you like Deftones’ mellower songs, this might interest you.
††† (pronounced Crosses), is the electronic/alternative side project of Deftones singer Chino Moreno, far guitarist Shaun Lopez and Scott Chuck, based in Los Angeles, California, and formed in 2010. (via Last.fm)
Their first EP album is free, and their 2nd EP is really cheap on their website.

“Pixel Galaxy” & “Web City” - My first website (worth mentioning) I started around 1998 or 1999 when I was around 13 or 14. It was developed totally with free/basic software like Netscape Composer, Adobe PageMill and the AppleWorks paint application (long before I used Photoshop for the first time).
It started originally as just “Web City” but I got a little ahead of myself and started expanding to space before I had finished fleshing-out the city part. I also got my hands on a lite version of ‘Painter’ so the graphics style changes quite a bit before I abandoned development.
Visit the archived website. It’s mostly awful except for some of my illustrations. It’s a fun time capsule from my childhood and a more primitive internet.
Wow my anti #SOPA #PIPA Tumblr post went viral yesterday. It was reblogged and liked over 1,600 times (as of this post)! Hopefully it helped raise awareness.

My sites have been censored
In protest of SOPA (Stop Online Privacy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act), the proposed USA censorship legislation.
Using the CloudFlare.com “Stop Censorship” App.

On a side note, the app doesn’t seem to work too well with Squarespace hosted sites (my main portfolio site).
Reminder: Rayman Origins is awesome!
It’s an easy game to overlook thanks to the glut of great games that came out at the end of 2011, but you’ll be doing yourself a disfavor by not playing this game.
I too nearly overlooked it because of limited money in the holiday shopping season. I finally ordered a copy for 360 last week when it went on sale for $20 from ToysRus.com for a limited time. If you missed that sale, it is totally worth the $30 you can now find it for from most stores like Amazon (it sold for the full $60 price when it came-out Nov 15).
My girlfriend and I have started playing co-op together and really had a blast so far.

Q:Hello! This may seem a bit weird but I was wondering if you could help me at all, I am doing an art project in school on robots. I'm finding it quite hard to find pictures and other samples of robot art. Do you know of any sites, artists, or pictures I could use? I noticed you post some of that type of thing! I thought it was worth a shot!
Hello. You could try searching wallbase.cc for “Robot”. You might also try searching Flickr, I belong to a robot art group.
An artist I like David Lanham has done a few robots. I’ve also got a handful of robot illustrations on my website.
Make sure you credit anyone if you use their art.
Hope that helps. Thanks for the message!
